I like, actually enjoy greatly to hear about one of us excelling in the secular world. Many of us excel to as great or greater degree, using Kobe's yardstick, and we survive the scratches, bruises, abuses and so has he not because of man but because God is mercy and makes it ours for the asking. I am very proud he is, like me, Catholic. Join us and in the meantime enjoy our prayers.

Since when did the bible became the only rule of authority ? Where did Jesus and His apostle say that the bible is the only rule of authority ? Fundamentalism is one of the symptoms of the unbiblical and heretical sola scriptura that has produced 43,000 competing apostate denominations and perverted bibles to justify the existence of their cults.

yeah it was definitely the girls fault, these catholic superstars are practically saints! It's just the media that is against them!!! Just remember if you follow the bible you are a fundamentalist!!! The only people the pope has declared war on. Have your own beliefs. your own or something like that. Fundamentalism bad!!! (don't, I repeat don't follow the bible word for word. DON'T TRUST IT!) Or maybe the opposite to everything I just said is more likely to be true, I dunno what do you think?

It is the 'sword of Christ's mouth' which is the weapon of a combat angel. Arch Angel Michael will slay Satan with this weapon. Satan is symbolic for man's evil human pride on earth, especially man's evil human pride in secular power. God was King and Ruler over Israel from the Exodus till the fall of Israel in 687 B.C.. Jesus will take over as King and Ruler of the world upon victory at our future Battle of Armageddon. With Jesus, a descendant of King David, Ruling the world, Israel is restored and Zion, God's Holy City on earth, is born. It is Christ's Church, the Catholic Church which will metamorphosis into the restored Kingdom of Israel, of new born Zion. Jesus will Rule, on earth, for tens of thousands of years, with and through His Church, the Catholic Church.

Jesus will Rule, with His Church, using the 'keys to the kingdom' which is Christ's power to bind and loost sins. Jesus gave His power, to bind and loost sins to His Apostles and their successors. Combat Angels of the Apocalypse will be Catholic Clergy. The way that you chain Satan, which is man's evil human pride in unrepentant sin on earth, in hell, is to have a Pope read a list of world wide anathemas binding the unrepentant wicked to their sins. Now the only way for the wicked to break the chains of hell is to repent and enter into Christ's Kingdom Come of Zion, aka The New Jerusalem, is through the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

In the Book of Revelation, the great angel reading a small scroll, right before Jesus is crowned as King and Ruler of the world, is a Pope reading a list of world wide auto-anathemas, which chain the unrepentant in hell, lest they repent and enter into Christ's Kingdom Come of New Born Zion, through the gates of Zion which are the Catholic sacraments of Reconciliation and Baptism. This will be what Jesus describes as His dispatching of His angels to hurl the wicked into hell and gather the righteous up into His Kingdom to shine like the sun. Jesus will pour out massive miracle upon the world, through His Church, the Catholic Church, and the world will stream to her. This will be Christ's Kingdom Come, of the Restored Kingdom of Israel, Zion, aka the Post Armageddon Catholic Church, in Post Armageddon times.

Who will be leading the way, in deposing Satan, man's evil human pride in secular power on earth, and into Christ's Kingship on earth? It will be Michael the Archangel. Archangel Michael, of course, is Catholic. Let us go to Christ's Kingdom Come of Zion. Let Jesus reign down peace, justice and massive miracles upon the poor and sick in post Armageddon, Catholic Church, times.

Now all we have to do is get a Pope to read the Armageddon scroll of auto anathemas. Which this will be the great Battle of Armageddon. Most scripture indicates it only takes about an hour to read the Armageddon scroll. We go through the three days of darkness, which is what John the Baptist refers to as 'the Wrath of the Lamb', and then walk out our doors into Christ's Kingdom Come of Messianic Reign. There will be peace, justice, massive miracles and protection for Christ's Church, aka Zion, under Messianic Reign. So, lets go. Defend us in battle Michael the Archangel!

Perhaps someone with good reason to be frustrated with the Catholic Church is lashing out. Maybe it's a good time for church leaders and members to reflect on how to proceed. I read recently on a blog about a mother who was concerned how her child with autism was being treated at a Catholic Church. It certainly gave me more reason to be concerned about the Church leaders and members who support them.

The Archdiocese of Chicago has voluntarily released documents related to 36 Archdiocesan priests who have at least one substantiated allegation of sexual misconduct with a minor. These documents are in addition to those released in January on 30 other priests. This release, together with the January release, covers priests who have substantiated allegations of sexual misconduct with minors identified on the Archdiocese's website as of November 2014. Documents pertaining to two priests, former Rev. Daniel J. McCormack and Rev. Edward J. Maloney, are not included, due to ongoing processes that do not permit release.

Definitely a sad thing...it certainly could have been worse, and perhaps the person who did it was mentally deranged or very, very drunk. I do take heart that the Blessed Sacrament was not desecrated, etc. I can't help but think that true mal-intent in the heart would have resulted in a far more profane sacrilege. But still, this is a sorrow. May God have mercy. Perhaps the person was very mad at God. :-( ~Mindy

I love the idea of remembering the boys' Baptism Day. But, first I'd have to look them up for myself as it isn't a tradition that I grew up with as a Catholic. Of the 4 boys, only one is named for the Saint of the day.

In our family, we are fortunate to have received most sacraments on St. Clare's feast day! My feeble brain can manage to remember at least that much. Even my formal transfer to the East happened on her feast. :-)
